About Lily’s Design

“Being in the closet or being silent about who you are is a really disempowering way to exist. When we speak up (about who we are) and speak out (against injustice) we’re able to claim our power and live a more authentic, affirming life. For me, making art about pride and my identity is an important form of activism, because I hope it’ll empower others and make them feel seen and connected to a larger community.”

Lily Fulop is a queer artist, designer, and illustrator who currently lives in Chicago. Lily strives to make bold work to make people feel seen and spark conversation (but she also just likes to have fun). Taking inspiration from color, pattern, and retro kitsch, she's a proud maximalist.
