"When I visualize my journey to self-love and acceptance, I see myself carving paths, opening gates, and bounding through the unknown with joy. Coming out can be scary and isolating, especially when you’re young. I was lucky to have a creative, queer chosen-community guiding me. My journey isn’t over—I’m still overcoming obstacles. I hope as folks color my world, they remember those who bring color to theirs."
