“I grew up in Taipei, it’s a city beaming with vibrancy and surprises at every corner of the streets. Each signage represents a world someone has built for themselves in this city, I used to find it quite overwhelming and unattractive growing up, but it has grown on me and inadvertently affected my work as well with its colors, designs, and details.”

About the Artist

David Huang is a Taiwanese-American illustrator working and living in London. His work has been recognized by 3x3, American Illustration, The Noguchi Museum, World Illustration Awards, and Society of Illustrators. When he isn't drawing, he enjoys taking the train to try out restaurants, having a nice roast at the pub, learning new languages intensively, and searching for random historical facts on the internet.
