As a Korean-American founded company, we’re proud to honor AAPI culture this month (and every month). This year, we’re shining the spotlight on a talented illustrator and animator: Meet Lucia Pham.

Lucia’s Inspiration for the Tote

Lucia grew up in post-war Vietnam during what she calls “a time of peace.” As Vietnam became more developed, the emphasis on arts and culture grew, which inspired her to start illustrating. She felt lucky to grow up during a time where she was able to explore, connect, and empathize with the people around her.

On Her Illustration Style

“It's positive and fun, but also weird and different. I love to draw intricate details in a simple way, with colorful and eye-catching textures. My art style is heavily influenced by Vietnamese culture, and I believe that sharing my culture with the world is to show pride in it.”
